What Got You Started As A Coach I Started playing Rugby at School and got injured, the only other sport available at the time was soccer and I really got hooked on it. I then developed the passion for the game that engulfed my whole life as a virus.
Best Aspect Of Coaching Being able to influence the youth to play soccer as alternative to gangsterism and the abuse of drugs and alcohol. To see the joy in their faces when achieving a skill and scoring goals. The ability to improve the standard of soccer in S.A.
Biggest Influence On Coaching Career The late Frank Lord, Boebie Solomons and Farouk Abrahams ex Bafana Goal Keeper. All international coaching support groups. Then most important, my family supporting me.
Best Memory As A Coach Watching my elders son’s first game when he was four (4) years old. My Ladies team winning the grand challenge trophy, after loosing all their first round games then went on to be undefeated in the second round. Homeless World Cup Copenhagen 2007, coaching the S.A. team and improving our rankings from 27th to 16th position, and my goalkeeper Thulani winning the goalkeeper of the tournament award.
Most Successful Season As A Coach 1993 Winning all Junior and Senior trophies with Junction Rovers AFC, whiles serving as Junior Chairperson and Junior coach.

Observation On South Africa Soccer Still a lot to do to be able to compete internationally. To improve the standard of our coaches to develop our youth and seniors without intervention from S.A.F.A.. To install a proper and visible development structure on provincial and national level.
Long Term Goal Establish my own school for soccer development. Becoming a National Coach or be part of the Technical staff on National Level
